About Mooney Bin Entertainment

Sean_edited.jpg

Mooney Bin Entertainment started as Mad Moon Rackets in 2002 by Sean Mooney. He spent two years writing, editing, commissioning illustrators, and finally publishing his first game in 2004.

Made Men – Welcome to the Family, a Tabletop Roleplaying Game, did a few small print runs, and was featured at the last Gen Con So Cal and 2005's Gen Con Indy.

Attention shifted to writing One Shot Larps and Tomorrow Dies Today was born. TDT was written and playtested several times as more of a side fun venture, but then was put on the back burner.

Sean also began writing Touched, with a mantra of “2K a day!” to get a manuscript fully written. After putting 135K words to paper, the manuscript did what many others do and gathered electronic dust.

With life getting busier, creative projects got pushed to the side. The mantra of 'I'll do it later' was constant, but upon turning 35, Sean realized 'later' was 'now'.

Mad Moon Rackets was revived and rebranded as Mooney Bin Entertainment. MBE has now successfully Kickstarted the board games Tomorrow Dies Today and Survivors, run LARPs (L5R, Dresden, with more incoming!) and has several projects on the horizon. It is Sean's mission through Mooney Bin Entertainment to entertain its readers/players.

Alexis Dyer

NiFO

Alexis Starmer Dyer is a former Graphic Designer, starting over to follow her passion as a writer. She is devoted to the future of what can be. With two bachelor’s degrees, this project is her first entry into the professional field of writing and game building.

Alexis lives in Colorado, where if you don’t like the weather, all you need do is wait a few hours. She brings a husband, daughter, and two puppies for the ride. Just don't ask her to drive. She uses a broom since her daughter took the car.

Allie Pitchford

NiFO

Alexandra Pitchford is a writer and game designer that has worked on material for Shadowrun and Vampire the Masquerade, as well as original Sci-Fi and Fantasy fiction. She lives in Australia with her partner, three cats, and WAY too many plastic miniatures.

Anastasia Storer

NiFO, Conscience, Dresden, Daemon

Anastasia is terrible when it comes to talking about herself, and as the most introverted introvert (who can do one hell of an impersonation as an extrovert as needed), she could happily spend the rest of her life as a hermitess puttering around in her garden, with her books and video games for company. Alas, that life doesn't pay the bills, so you can find her working for clients as a copywriter, editor, and proofreader, assisting with online course creation, and handling social media management (along with a smattering of other tasks). She and her mother and two sisters also have a small Etsy shop selling jewelry.

*Mooney Note* Anastasia is an awesome person, is incredibly well organized, and a key player of the team. It's been great getting to know you better as we worked with each other!

Anna Gold

NiFO

Anna took point on laying out the Lore book for NiFO

Anna Velilla

Conscience

Anna Velilla is a writer, copyeditor, and larp designer and organizer. She has written and produced several plays, unpublished novels, and a handful of chamber larps. She's worked in book publishing for the last three years and has gotten increasingly involved in larp organizing since attending her first larp in October of 2024. She intends to run her first multi-day game in the summer of 2026, shortly after facilitating her first blockbuster (Conscience USA).

Cat Williams

NiFO

Cat Williams is a History PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas. She specializes in the study of ritual, sacrifice, punishment, torture, and execution as religious social control in the Roman Republic.

She also researches sexism and gender bias in the Early Modern European Witch Hunts. She has several published Academic papers. Outside of Academia, Cat writes in the Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Supernatural genres and has one published book: TIAF: Unit Zodiac – Failure Is Not Acceptable. She has been married for 37 years and has six adult children, all of whom are geeks in some form.
